Homomorphic-Encrypted Volume Rendering

چکیده

Computationally demanding tasks are typically calculated in dedicated data centers, and real-time visualizations also follow this trend. Some rendering tasks, however, require the highest level of confidentiality so that no other party, besides owner, can read or see sensitive data. Here we present a direct volume approach performs directly on encrypted by using homomorphic Paillier encryption algorithm. This ensures rendered image uninterpretable to server. Our pipeline introduces novel approaches for encrypted-data compositing, interpolation, opacity modulation, as well simple transfer function design, where each these routines maintains privacy. We performance memory overhead analysis is associated with our privacy-preserving scheme. open secure opposed through obscurity. Owners only have keep their key confidential guarantee privacy images. work is, knowledge, first remote volume-rendering does not any server involved be trustworthy; even cases when compromised, will leaked foreign party.

Encrypted Domain DCT Based on Homomorphic Cryptosystems

Signal processing in the encrypted domain (s.p.e.d.) appears an elegant solution in application scenarios where valuable signals must be protected from a possibly malicious processing device. In this paper we consider the application of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) to images encrypted by using an appropriate homomorphic cryptosystem. A s.p.e.d. 1-dimensional DCT is obtained by defining a...

Processing Encrypted Data Using Homomorphic Encryption

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) was initially introduced as a concept shortly after the development of the RSA cryptosystem, by Rivest et al. [54]. Although long sought after, the first functional scheme was only proposed over thirty years later by Gentry [34, 35] in 2009. The same blueprint to construct FHE has been followed in all subsequent work. First a scheme is constructed which can ev...

Segmentation Assisted Object Distinction for Direct Volume Rendering

Ray Casting is a direct volume rendering technique for visualizing 3D arrays of sampled data. It has vital applications in medical and biological imaging. Nevertheless, it is inherently open to cluttered classification results. It suffers from overlapping transfer function values and lacks a sufficiently powerful voxel parsing mechanism for object distinction. In this work, we are proposing an ...

Volume Rendering

This report summarizes my research on the visualization of scalar fields and the rendering of participating media. A strong focus of my work is on the development of optical models for exploring and visualizing volumetric data sets interactively. In particular, my research is concentrated on goal-oriented optical models that offer simple control over the visual properties of a visualization com...

Comparison-based Applications for Fully Homomorphic Encrypted Data

The cloud computing providers need to offer security warranties. As we all know, one of the critical points is the confidentiality and access to customer data which, these days, is migrated and managed in cloud environments. In this sense, one solution is based on encrypting data before its upload in cloud. But this approach sets a limit regarding data processing. In this article we present a p...
